Explosion-proof air conditioners must not be produced or sold without obtaining a production license.

Explosion-proof air conditioners are a type of explosion-proof electrical equipment, mainly used for cooling and heating in flammable and explosive environments such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, scientific research, metallurgy, military, oil depots, and offshore oil routes. The appearance and usage of explosion-proof air conditioners are similar to those of ordinary air conditioners. Structurally, they employ composite explosion-proof technologies such as explosion-proof type, intrinsic safety type, and encapsulation type. The control end is entirely based on intrinsic safety type control, which does not produce any electrical sparks, ensuring convenient and safe use. They utilize high-efficiency multi-fin heat exchangers, allowing for more thorough contact between the refrigerant and air, significantly improving the cooling and heating effects of the air conditioner. They can be controlled manually or remotely. Production and sales of explosion-proof air conditioners are prohibited without a production license.

What precautions should be taken when installing and using explosion-proof air conditioners?
1. The power supply for the explosion-proof air conditioner should have a dedicated line, and there should be a circuit breaker or air switch in the dedicated line. The power supply wires and fuses must comply with relevant regulations and should not be changed arbitrarily.
2. To prevent electric leakage due to insulation damage, a leakage protector should be installed if conditions permit, with an action current of 15-30 milliamps, and the cut-off time should not exceed 0.1 seconds.
3. The air conditioner should be turned on and off using a switch, and the power plug should not be directly inserted or pulled out to turn the air conditioner on or off. This can damage the air conditioning control system and create electric arcs between the plug and socket, leading to personal safety accidents. Additionally, leaving it in standby for a long time not only consumes a certain amount of electricity but also makes it susceptible to lightning strikes during thunderstorms.
4. All electrical plugs must be securely inserted and should not be loose. Otherwise, poor contact may occur, damaging the air conditioner.
5. If the capacity of the household electric meter is insufficient, it must be increased in advance. Do not take chances to avoid fire hazards due to overloaded circuits.
6. Carefully read the user manual and operate according to the regulations; do not randomly press the remote control.
7. For old air conditioners, do not restart within 3 minutes after shutdown, as this may easily damage the compressor. New air conditioners are equipped with circuits that prevent restarting within 3 minutes; even if restarted within this time, the compressor will not operate.
8. If any abnormal sounds occur, immediately turn off the power and disconnect the power supply, and have a technician from the manufacturer's authorized repair point or office come to inspect.
9. Do not spray insecticides or volatile liquids directly at the explosion-proof air conditioner while it is running, as this may cause electric leakage and lead to fire.
10. If the power supply voltage exceeds the rated working voltage of 240V, it is best to stop using the air conditioner for safety. If the power supply voltage is found to be too low while using the air conditioner, immediately disconnect the power and stop using it, as this may easily damage the compressor.
11. The connecting pipes should not be too long: the outdoor unit of the explosion-proof air conditioner should be placed in a location that dissipates heat easily, and the connecting pipes between the indoor and outdoor units should not exceed the recommended length to enhance cooling/heating effects.
12. Effectively use the timing function of the explosion-proof air conditioner: when sleeping or going out, please use the timer to ensure it only operates during necessary times to save electricity.
