The dehumidification principle of a rotary dehumidifier is based on the use of a rotating wheel that contains a hygroscopic material. As air passes through the wheel, the hygroscopic material absorbs moisture from the air. The wheel then rotates to a regeneration section where heat is applied to evaporate the absorbed moisture, allowing the wheel to dry out before it continues to absorb moisture from the incoming air. This process effectively reduces the humidity level in the air.

The rotary dehumidifier places great importance on the selection of raw materials.
The rotary dehumidifier places great importance on the selection of raw materials, and it can achieve a quiet operation effect during dehumidification and drying. This type of equipment has a high dehumidification rate and can meet the application needs of different fields, which is why many industries now choose rotary dehumidifiers as their first option. Using a rotary dehumidifier for dehumidification can avoid the troubles caused by defrosting during operation, and the equipment can directly complete related operational processes in low-temperature environments. Due to its many functional advantages, rotary dehumidifiers are widely used in many industrial sites. In the industrial field, during the production of colloids or powdery raw materials, it is necessary to keep the raw materials dry to ensure the molding rate and product quality during processing and production. Using a rotary dehumidifier can achieve this application goal, and in the storage of pharmaceuticals and some packaging industries, the application of rotary dehumidifiers can play an important role.
Do you know the dehumidification principle of rotary dehumidifiers? Today, I will introduce the dehumidification principles, which are divided into three types: air treatment dehumidification principle, cooling dehumidification principle, and adsorption-type rotary dehumidification principle. I will introduce each in detail below.
Air treatment dehumidification principle: It uses a honeycomb structure dehumidification wheel, with the motor rotating the dehumidification wheel 10 times per hour, continuously repeating the moisture absorption and regeneration actions to provide dry air. After the moisture in the air is removed in the moisture absorption area, the blower sends the dried air indoors. The wheel that has absorbed moisture moves to the regeneration area, where the regeneration air sent in from the opposite direction will expel the moisture, allowing the wheel to continue working.
Cooling dehumidification principle: This is because the moisture in the air decreases as the temperature drops. When outdoor air passes through the fresh air cooler, the air is cooled by the cooling coil, and as the temperature decreases, the water vapor in the air gradually condenses, reaching a saturated state. When the unsaturated air continues to cool, the water vapor in the air turns into condensed water, and the moisture content in the air decreases, ultimately achieving the dehumidification process.
Adsorption dehumidification principle: The dehumidification wheel has a processing area and a regeneration area inside the dehumidification section, rotating at a speed of 8 revolutions per hour, ensuring that the entire dehumidification process is continuous. When the air passes through the processing area, the water vapor is adsorbed by the moisture-absorbing medium in the wheel, while a phase change occurs, ultimately releasing latent heat. The wheel absorbs a certain amount of moisture and gradually approaches a saturated state.
